Article Outline

In the above-mentioned article, the authors have noted that information derived from a study by Kibler et al has been misrepresented in the text.

On page 20, the author's state: “In that study, the Modified Dynamic Labral Shear test yielded very poor diagnostic accuracy (LR+ = 0.38; LR- = 1.54),20 which was much worse than the findings of our study.”

This should read:

“In that study, the Modified Dynamic Labral Shear test yielded very strong diagnostic accuracy (LR+ = 31.6; LR- = 0.29),20 which is much better than the findings of our study.”

This information does not change the findings of our study, but at present the error misrepresents the findings of the Kibler study. The authors apologize for this oversight.
